Heathrow Art Festival

Keegan had a piece of art that he did at school featured at the Heathrow Art Festival this past weekend. While the kids stayed at the church and practiced for the Christmas production, Caleb and I went to go check it out.

We got some tasty lunch from some food trucks. Caleb was particularly impressed and mesmerized by the 900 Degree Pizza truck. Their pizza was amazing.

A Long Break

Well...here I am again. It's been a long time since I've posted. Facebook hijacked my life. I deactivated my account just over two weeks ago. I kind of miss it. Like...right now. I just did something significant and I want to share it with the world. Why do people have that desire to share everything with everyone?

So anyways....here's the news. My student loan is finally paid off. Wowzers...that took a LONG time! We have had such crazy working situations since I graduated...we have deferred payment so many times and changed repayment plans and on and on....my loan wasn't for very much but it was such a low interest rate and we've had so many other things come up...it just wasn't a priority.

I'm very glad to close that chapter of our financial history :) I'm so very grateful for my little job that has been making it possible to take care of things like this.

Maybe I will start start sharing my life here once again regularly. We'll see...

Palin is 3!!!

Grandpa Sdao came down just after Christmas and BEFORE our Fun Passes expired and we were able to do the Sea World thing AGAIN! :)

I am very sad that I had to take her out of this school :(

To make both of us feel better we started a once a week school at our old church where she takes two classes. This Friday she will start enrichment art and ballet classes at the same church for a number of weeks (6 or 8...not sure how long).

Christmas Trip to Sea World

I think it was a day or two before Christmas we all loaded in the car and went to Sea World. We went because we still had the FUN PASS that got us in free all year round...and also because I had heard that their Christmas lights were pretty, they had "snow" there, and we wanted to see the "O Wondrous Night" performed during the Christmas Season. Here are some of our few pictures we took. At the bottom I am posting a link to a blog some random person did that shows the pretty lights, as well as a link to the O Wondrous Night performance. The kids loved the show...well, not Palin. She was a pain in the butt and had to be taken out. Kennedy LOVED the live animals at the end. Especially the camels.

This would be a fun tradition to do every year. Actually, we could rotate theme parks as I'm sure each one has unique experiences to offer. Maybe the Gibson's or Nunn's would want to come make cousin memories with us next year? ;)
